Visa waiting times

Hi, looking for some advice really, we applied for permanent res last July, myself, hubby & 2 kids, 6 & 1. just wondering does anyone know the most up to date waiting times, we are moving from Ireland to Vancouver as have sister out there.. we applied through the London office...would love some hope! we are hoping it wouldn't be much more then 2.5 years....thx.sharon
