Move from UK to Canada

Hello everyone! - I am looking for some advice.
I am an accountant; 27 years old living in London for 10 years and I have just applied for my UK citizenship. Plans changed and I decided to immigrate to Canada (Vancouver) as my brother lives out there. I could move to Canada right now with a tourist or student visa while my UK citizenship application in being processed however the problem is that I wont be able to work. Are there alternatives I could solve my problem? In other words, move to Vancouver within the next 3 to 6 months and be able to work. If someone could offer any advice, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
