We are giving serious consideration to moving the family to Toronto. (Me, husband and daughters aged 8 and 5).
On the plus side we already have family living in the city, my husband has lived there previosly for about 10 years. However, I would like other opinons on what it is like to live in the city. Especially in the winter (I haven't been over in the winter time yet)Also feedback on education system.
Whislt I have reached the conclusion that the cost of living is about the same as here, all things considered, and yes you can get more house for your money. Is the lifestyle really bettter than the UK? We currently do not live in a city but a historic maket town in South Lincolnshire.
Anyway, in short I would like to hear peoples stories how they settled in, what were the shocks and what were ups?
