Managing US finances from Canada

Hello. My wife has accepted a job in Toronto. We are preparing to move very soon. She is being sponsored by her employer for a work permit and I will be getting an open work permit based on that.

We have US mortgages, student loans, etc., that we will need to keep paying once we move. Does anyone have advice on how to manage US bills while living abroad? Are there any banks or credit cards that have good programs for someone in our situation, such as low currency exchange fees?
