anyone in ottawa?

hello, new to all this!! My husband has been offered a job in the canadian air force based in Ottawa. Was just wondering if anyone could tell me a little bit about living there? Im a childrens nurse and keen to work once we are settled. We have 2 wee girls aged 5 and 3. We have been looking at the Kanata and Stittsville areas.

would love to know all about it if anyone has made the move to Ottawa :)
