Should I Stay or Should I Go

I am a Canadian having lived in the UK since I was 11 years old. My only family are in Canada (Ontario) and at the youthful age of +50 I am seriously considering returning. The UK holds little for me other than a well paid job. Wife and son are willing to go. Is Canada really better that the UK?
