Applying to move to Canada

Hi all,

I'm a young person (24) looking to move to Canada.

However, I want to gain 18 months or so work experience where I live now (UK) before I apply as I'm assuming the more job experience you have, the greater chances of being accepted to live there.

If I was to theoretically apply now and be rejected, would that affect my chances of applying again in say 18 months or 2 years?

Thanks!
