Canadian Citizen - wants to reestablish residency

Hello! Hoping to find some help... and so happy to be here with you all!

I am a Canadian Citizen, and I have been living in the US the past 10 years as a US Permanent Resident thru marriage. I am getting set to apply for my US citizenship. But I would like to also re-establish my Canadian residency. I’m happy to move back to Canada for 6 months to accomplish this, but I’m wondering if I can still travel between Canada/US? And can I still work for my employer in the US?

Any insight is appreciated!
