to bnemerson -- January and February are extremely busy months here tourist-wise. Every year at the end of February an Internation Music Festival is held. Your best bet may be to look in the real estate section (propidades) of the local newpaper: www.elmercurio.com/valpo -- or google rental properties in Vina del Mar or Valparaiso. Start looking the booking now for any chance. You might also google properties in Renaca and Con Con which are very nice areas just up the coast from Vina. Good luck. Jane Watts
