Help I need updated info

O.K. I'm freaking out and need recent information on living in Chile. Due to recent immigration changes I will have to relocate with my husband and 12yr old to Chile. I was wondering if anyone can give me info if they have kids in that age group that has moved and adjusted well. Ok here's the freaking out part though my child and I look very much latin I speak enough spanish- I think to get by my child speaks none. I also only have a 2yr associates degree will I be able to find work to be able to feed and cloth my child? I know I should ask my husband but he's more of the everything will be fine type and I need answers. Thanks
