Living in Valparaíso Región for almost 2 months

Hi,

I am originally from Poland but have been living in Canada for most of my life.
I moved to Chile after falling in love with it, and my now boyfriend, at the beginning of 2009.
After returning to Vancouver in May, I automatically knew that where I wanted to settle down was Chile. I had never felt like settling down anywhere before. But there is something about Chile that mesmerized me.

So, I´m now here, living in the small city of Limache (about 30 minutes from Viña del Mar). It´s hot! I love it, though. The only thing is, I don´t know many people, only my boyfriend and a few of his friends. Also, I do not have a job yet, but I do have a TEFL certificate.
Oh, and I have not applied for any visas yet.

Could anyone help me with the following:

1.) Meeting new people, either from Chile or abroad. Are there any Polish people out there?!

2.) Information about where I could get a job.

3.) Visa/immigration information.
