moving to santiago with 6month old baby

Hi my husband and I are preparing to move to Santiago from Toronto in June/July with our 6 month old baby. Are there many activity or mom groups in the city(eg song groups, moms meeting for lunch, baby swim lessons, tc)? I'm worried we will feel quite isolated if we don't keep ourselves busy. Also, does anyone know how long chilean women are on maternity leave? Are they the primary care givers or do most people have empleados/nannies.
