I just moved to Santiago a week ago for my job. I am in a temporary living place for 2 more weeks and then I'm on my own. I am looking for a 1BR apt, furnished, preferable in Las Condes or Vitacura. However, my impeccable gift of timing has me competing with returning University students. Does anyone have any suggestions as to how a girl can find a place NOT through english based websites, where they charge a huge commission for finding you a place??? It's tough not speaking fluently and very easy to get played for a fool....I am sending out good vibes for a samaritan out there somewhere.
