Hi! My friend and I have been offered jobs at DuocUC to teach English classes to students. We applied through a program called teachingchile. Does anyone know of this program and its reputation? Positive and/or negative feedback would be greatly appreciated as the program placement fee is steep at $1400 USD. Is there a less expensive way to go about finding a job/work visa? We intend to live in Chile for at least a year or even more. Also, the school pays a stipend of 430,000 Chilean pesos per month. Will this be substantial for the cost of living in Chile?
