Where are the down to earth farming communities?

Hello,
My partner and I are organic Permaculture farmers from Oregon, USA. Thinking of moving down to Southern or Patagonian Chile and buying land to create a sustainable permaculture farm that people can come and take tours of and also host workshops ect. We are going to travel down in january. We are searching for tips on the places we should visit where we could be compelled to buy land. We live in a small valley of organic farmers, permaculturists, ex-hippies, down to earth musicians and artists that has a very strong sense of community. We are hoping to get word of similar places in southern Chile to scope out where these ways of life exist. If you have any good information on some places to visit or look into, we would be very grateful.
