Moving a horse and three dogs to China

My husband has been offered a posting to China for a max of three years and the deal breaker is if the dogs and horse can't go - does anyone have any experience of moving animals to Shanghai? We have no kids - just two Basset Hounds, a Rhodesian Ridgeback and a Lusitano horse!
