Forum Search and Water Heaters

Hi, I'm new to this site and was trying to use the search function to find threads to topics of interest to me, but came up totally blank in all of them. One interest I have is one that I would think would interest most expats, which is which foods to avoid due to toxic chemicals (for example, a lot more pesticide is used on green beans than other vegetables and none is used on sweet potato greens). When searching with words like "unsafe foods" "dangerous foods" "healthy/unheathy foods",, etc, it all came up blank. Is there something wrong with my search strategy or is there no one talking about these things?

Okay, my next question:
Hi,

I've used gas water heaters in different countries around the world with no problem or concern (except for the usual precautions one should make), but recently a friend said that she was told that they are dangerous (presumably more dangerous than a gas stove). The only caution I've heard in this regard is that the gas bottle should not be in the bathroom (in other words, in the same room as the water heater itself). Aside from that, (and the dangers of not taking reasonable precautions when using gas cylinders) are there really other dangers?
