Torn

Born in Colombia but came to US 39 years ago. I never stopped loving my mother country and want to go back soon.
I am an IT professional making a very good salary. I believe my company would let me work remotely from Colombia which is a great thing. So what am I torn about?
My company will ask me to take a 27% cut to allow me to work from Colombia which I can live with. However when I checked the income tax rate I noticed that I will be paying 33% in Colombia.
I am absolutely torn about the situation although I could still lived very comfortably in Colombia.
Appreciate any advice you may have.
