I was looking at the idea of selling a property in the UK and buying something in Medellin, Colombia. A quick look at the historical charts gave me a pretty good idea of how dismal the situation is of fiat money, QE-laden economies versus resource-rich, financially stable and relatively debt-light countries like Colombia.
