Heading to Cali in November 2013

Hi I am heading to Dapa in November 2013 with my Colombian born wife and will be working in both Dapa & Cali.
Already we have much family on the Colombian side but I will be a sole Englishman who would like to communicate and learn more from before I arrive. I am a grown boy and can take bad news as well as good so be straight and tell me your genuine feelings for the place and what I can expect if i am to survive in such a place.
