Renewing resident card as enforced by the new law

For residents,,, contemplating their cellular , after 5 years they must also renew the residency card ,,,,,it’s a real pain here goes ,,,adhere to the following,…..you have to provide a copy of your passport, migatorio form showing your entries and exits from Colombia,,number 3. Photograph 4x3 passport digtail. 4. Copies actualizada del registry de matrimonial. 5. Copy of the cedulla of your wife/ husband. I believe it has to been done in a notary and stamped,,,6. Show health insurance and that your paying into the system 7. Love letter ,, in Spanish, that your partner was not forced into the marriage,dater and times of special events.have to explain what you like about each other, 8. Show photos of you together with dates maxim 12 photos, conformation of any foreign travel together.9. This is the part that pisses me off , You have to go to a notary with 2 witnesses. That have known you,,,,,10. Show all bank accounts , that’s to show you’re are paying into eps on what you earn. 13. You must not leave Colombia while the visa is being processed. That’s about it.if you are on a pension visa it’s a little bit easier….but it’s like starting all over again , they have really made it harder,,,,,if you do it through a immigration lawyer should cost around 2 million pesetas not including the migatorio form that’s only 66.500. If any one has any questions I would be glad to help, I’m going through the process at the moment,,,, good luck. It’s a tad stressful
