I’m 66 and wife 65, paying 145,000 total for both monthly in Cundinamarca. EPS FAMISANAR. So, takes a week or so for doctor’s visit, copay 4,000 pesos, then will give you orders for specialist or medicine. Authorizations you can do online for medicine and specialists, then just have to go wherever to get the appointments, usually in seniors line which is shorter. Specialists are usually 4000 pesos too. For that kind of money we don’t complain.

Was thinking though, for when older, is there a more expensive, all-inclusive plan we could sign up for now before we get older and won’t be eligible to get later? Would appreciate the collective wisdom of experience.
