Iphone 14 & 15

Looking for input from members with recent experience in registering an Iphone 14 or 15 purchased outside and brought to Colombia.

Last year, due a patent infringement dispute between Ericsson and Apple there was court-ordered injunction on the sale of Iphone 14s. I wasn't aware of this at the time. When I brought an iPhone 14 for a friend they were unable to get it registered. Eventually the carrier, Tigo, found a work around which I understand was cumbersome but they managed to get it working.

Fast forward a few months and the above mentioned injunction has been lifted. In light of this, I'm wondering if things are back to "normal" it terms of registering a phone brought in from outside Colombia.

I'm returning in a couple of weeks on my M visa and thinking of upgrading to a 14 or 15 to bring with me.

Would appreciate any info you may have or recent experience with iPhone 14 or 15s.
