For those that transfer funds from the US Bancolombia has streamlined the process. No more calling Medellin when the funds are incoming. No more negotiating rates. After having the money transferred from my US account yesterday morning I went to the local Bancolombia branch in the afternoon with the required documents and they sent them to Medellin. In the evening I received an approved email and to log into my account and answer a few questions to complete the transfer. The exchange rate was six pesos less than the posted rate
