Virtual World

A lot of people make a lot of promises and ask a lot of favors online....anyway the message below I sent to some "Ex Pat" User Groups, most people relocating abroad just really want to find someone to get them a job, cheap land and instant friends..like instant coffee after the caffeine wears off, instant friends are usually p----d out after not required anymore. One MAKES friends, respect is EARNED and in the developing world "barato sale caro" meaning 'cheap labor is not cheap'.
-----------------------------------------------------------------
Below is a "resignation" From a friend who left an
Internet Networking site I belong to...I have the same
feelings, however not so supportive for these "ex pat"
user groups, only one, a user group of ex pats recently
formed, did either the moderator or those seeking
information on relocating or traveling to the region
where I live ever take the time to even say thank you!! The
most arrogant are the ones with no expereience
residing abroad wanting other folks to help THEM get a
"job". Do your homework..find your own "job" or some company that will sponsor you for a WORK PERMIT if required if you have a special skill and are you uni-lingual? (English only) uni-cultural? (usually white suburban USA), well get with it learning another language, immersing in another culture...face to face.

We live in a virtual world, more and more, in
fact some of old timers down this way where I live
REFUSE to assist or do business with people they have
met only on line until they meet face to face, look
them in teh eye and shake their hand. How about that?
Rebut if you wish. You want help, come to me, shake my
hand and look me in the eye..called "body language".

"Dear friends,

Thank you for your friendship, love & support.
I am leaving ----,
because I don't want to live in a virtual world.

True friendship is what you gave me.
I am really gratefull for that.
You do mean a lot to me.
Thank you so much for your kind supportive
understanding
beautyfull love
tender hugs
lovely compliments
beautyfull green stars
and great testimonials!

However,
spending day and night behind a computer screen
sharing friendship
in fact leaves me alone all that time.
I would rather exchange with people for real
live
face to face
instead of sending messages by the internet.

This is why I asked ---- to delete my profile
and finish my account.

So I won't be here
to share and care with you
no longer no more.

Hopefully we will meet again
and be even better friends than.

Be blessed with peacy, harmony and good health.

Take care!

And have a beautyfull christmas.

Thank you for your supportive friendship.

Love
&
Hugs ---------------"
