Donations being sought for Helping Hands YARD SALE For AHPPA Animal Shelter

Have stuff taking up space in your house that you would LOVE to get rid of AND have it go towards some good causes??!!

Helping Hands is hosting another fabulous YARD SALE and they are seeking DONATIONS (as well as inviting you to come and buy!)!

WHY / BENEFITING: This one is benefiting AHPPA (Asociacion Humanitaria Para la Proteccion Animal de CR the Humane Society in Heredia at http://www.AnimalShelterCostaRica.com) as well as all money raised from shoe donations goes to their Walk A Mile In Their Shoes campaign benefiting the CRHF Costa Rican Humanitarian Foundation to help support their medical clinic in the Carpio.

WHEN: Saturday, February 9th from 9am to 2pmish
WHERE: Hotel OUT of BOUNDS Tourist Center/B&B
In Escazu on Calle Vieja (the Old Road between Escazu and Santa Ana) 1 km West of Paco Plaza AND on the South side of the street, across from the Indian restaurant Taj Mahal

They are looking for donations of items that can be sold at the Yard Sale and/or donated to various organizations throughout CR! If you have things that you are not using (that work please) but don't just want to give away, this is a great opportunity to assist Helping Hands with raising money for some VERY worthy causes. They will either sell it (the nicer things), or pass it on to one of the many Foundations that we support.

Funds raised from the sale will benefit the AHPPA to assist with their facility repairs after a recent storm. Any extra funds will be used for feeding the animals, or paying for spaying/neutering cats & dogs.

WHERE TO DROP OFF DONATIONS: At The House of Self Empowerment/Fountains Guesthouse in Escazu (San Rafael) on Calle Vieja near Calle Country Club. Contact them for directions (378-6679 or [email protected]).

Please drop larger items off at Out of Bounds.

For more info about the Yard Sale contact Meranda at [email protected] or call 288-6762 OR email for more information [email protected]
