My holiday in Costa Rica

Last November/December we were in Costa Rica on holidays. The first place was in Rincon de la Vieja which was very beautiful but also very remote. It had the hot springs there with the "blue river"
The second place was lake Arenal which always seemed to be windy and towards the night it would start raining. Also very nice.
The third place we went to was Portolon near Quepos. We stayed at La Palapa, a very nice resort with Cristina and Manuel the owners, who went out of their way for us. I liked this part of Costa Rica most with its mountains very close to the Pacific ocean, with it's water about 25-26 degrees. This is really the part of CR that I want to make my home in a couple of years time when I get my pension. Looking around there already to, maybe, buy property to rent out when we come over permanently. The thing is when buying real estate, you need to be there to buy it and not off the internet (where I have the feeling everybody is "over asking"
and prices are far too high!!)
Anyone there that has any ideas about real estate, I myself would like something in the hills on the road from Dominical to San Isidro or at least comparible, let me know please.
