Civil Discourse Please?

Yes I guess I am old--but when I was brought up respect was taught to us. I think the only reasonable response or thought I have seen for quite awhile on this forum was from Jordan. Very succinct and thoughtful post--gave us both a chance to express our opinions without resorting to personal name calling or insults. My thought is when you really have nothing intelligent to say about your own thoughts or have the ability to express yourself in an intelligent manner it is easy to just start calling someone names--you know, kind of like 2 year old children do? Don't mean to be insulting just truthful from my perspective.

Anyway--the last name caller was Doc--so are you really a Doc? Funny, because I have several owners and friends that are Doctors and they are moving here for the exact reasons I have expressed on the forum lately. And another thing you can't know not being in my business is that in these last few months alone we have done millions of dollars in business with Doctors and Lawyers. Why?? They are tired of getting robbed in taxes and they see the Sword of Damocles dangling over their fiscal head! So guess what?? When all this money is escaping the States how long will there be real money earners around to keep paying for the freebies? One thing you may not appreciate is that I have a data base of over 20,000 people that I am in weekly contact with. So if there are any crazy thoughts I share I guess you could say that 10's of thousands of people I am in contact with have them as well. I am trying to share with this forum my well over a decade of living here--starting business's and having a Costa Rican family--in addition I am sharing the thoughts and concerns of many many people from every State in the Union! And yes, I am very conservative and my point of view is certainly that way--along with the majority of my data base I might add. So if you can rise above childish name calling and actually be able to take hearing another point of view without personally attacking people you may better serve the purpose of the forum??
