Need Moderation?

Not sure why people feel we need a nanny?? Of course I don't agree with a lot of the attitudes and advice given on this forum but it sure seems you get different opinions regarding what life is like here. I do not like the childish name calling and derision of the people who actually sell real estate--after all for the most part people here are contemplating moving here and that usually involves someone SELLING and someone BUYING? But hey---this forum reflects life and that surely is not ever going to be perfect! To me the very idea of a nanny moderator is silly--if you don't like the forum don't read it! Is that very hard? And let me tell the complainers this---people like Steve Linder, myself and Ivo from American European have more information and experience to share than you will ever get from any single individual who moved here. An intelligent and critical choice may be to listen to people who have put their life into living here and helping people.Don't be so small minded that you are willing to toss away an accumulated 50+ years wealth of experience in every facet of life here in Costa Rica because someone started the habit of bad mouthing salesmen? And please--I know these guys and they never need to pressure anyone into anything--and I promise you that with some of the mentality's displayed here none of us would sell anything at any price to some of them! Are some of you really serious in thinking we are desperate just because we actually advertise our business---I know these guys personally and can assure you that none of us are desperate for any sale--are you kidding me? We have the whole world focused on us and sales have never been any kind of an issue so any desperation is totally in your minds-not in our business's! I just closed 2 lot sales and 3 farm sales this last month and you think we are sad and desperate?? We are starting to plant trees on over 700 acres in a new wood business and also starting an English school here in Siquirres! Get your heads on straight and realize your throwing away a treasure chest of experience and knowledge that we give away for FREE! If you are offended just because someone puts their website and email at the end of a free lesson on what life is like here that goes to show you really just don't get it! For goodness sake the wood business we are helping with will make the owner MILLIONS of dollars and to some of you that is a problem? Wow--I want to know more people like us to give us those sorts of problems! Anyway---as always, just my take on things.
