Guanacaste

What a different perspective in life our first trip to CR, this past December was for my husband and I. We stayed in Guanacaste at a resort for only 5 days and we truly fell in love with the beauty of nature, people and peace.
We are planning to visit more often until we are sure that CR will be our retiring place in the future. I have read all I can from this forum and others. I would love for someone to share more about Guanacaste with us.
Is there any FB pages I can be part of to get some more details or be in the mix (at least from the distance).
We have children and our youngest is 3, how are the schools? Churches? Transportation? Hospitals? Best areas to rent? What areas to avoid? Is the supermercado across from the plaza (sorry, can’t recall the name or location) the nearest one or only one in the area? What is the appropriate income in order to leave in this area?. We stayed in RIU Palce Resort, and saw a bit about Liberia surrounding airport.

We are planning to revisit God willing around June or July... what is the weather like?
This time we like to be in the mix, we want to experience the real CR life for at least a month or so. Please share your reviews and recommendations. We greatly appreciate your time :)
We are fully bi-lingual- speaking the language is not a problem.

PURA VIDA!
