Shipping Jobs In Cyprus

Hi Vivian,

Have noted a lot of the useful information you have posted and would appereciate if you could share some of your knowledge with us.

We are a young family of four hoping to relocate to Cyprus and plan to visit in October/November staying with a Cypriot friend I met through work. I noticed in one of your e-mails that your husband is involved in the Cypriot Shipping industry. I have been employed for 13 years by an Admiarlty Chart Agent in the U.K. and manage approx 165 vessels between 3 Cypriot shipping companies maintaining their charts and publications libraries. Before this I served in the Royal Navy for five years as an Able Seamen and Navigators Yeoman.

Could you possibly advise us of the job prospects within the shipping industry in Cyprus as moving to Cyprus obviously depends on me finding work.
