Hi all,as you can tell from the headline topic im new to this forum, having browsed a little i must say the questions and answers are very informative.
My particular question is one that will have been asked a million and one times,of course its regarding moving to and working in cyprus, thats a million and two, lol.
Seriously though,we are a early 40s couple who will both be made redundant christmas 1012,we are due a nice windfall but would be reluctant to put all our eggs in one basket and buy anything over there just in case things go belly up.
We are both hard working individuals but with no particular skills as such,im actually a fork truck driver and understand i will not find anything along those lines over there,i am actually a pretty decent cook but with no qualifications in this line of business.
Would qualifications be essential for jobs in the catering industry?
We would both be prepaired to take courses over here in the uk to help us find something suitable,im in the process at the moment of taking a psv course, some sort of airport pick ups drop offs would be my prefered choice but anything will do to make ends meet.
Thats enough from me for now, looking forward to all the job offers coming to me soon lol.

Many Thanks everyone.

Alan
