teaching in Prague

A friend of mine told me about a program in Prague called ITC. You pay a fee (about $1000) to get trained in Prague to teach english to native Czech speakers. Apparently you get a certificate that enables you to reach all over the world. Has anyone heard of this company and are they reputable? Are there other teaching opportunities that are better than this one? I've heard that there are many scams out there and I don't want to get taken.
