American moving to CPH for short term contract

I am being considered for a contract position with a Danish telecom firm. It will be 6 - 9 months. I am unfamiliar with Danish taxation rules, and whether I might be required to pay taxes both in the US and DN.

Another consideration is housing. My sponsor firm indicated that they could find me lodging (and pay for it) near my client firm at around 10.000 DKK ($2000 US?) per month. Is this cheap? Would I be in an undesirable area?

I'm just soliciting info about being an American taking a contract in DN. Any help?

Thanks so much!

Brian
