In my opinion people who want to invest in Ecuador or need accurate government information on a specific area would best help themselves by not depending on forum postings that may be biased and could lead you to an incorrect decision.

There are plenty of good reputable investment and financial letters you can suscribe to that will give you excellent accurate and up to date advise not only based on EC status but also taking into consideration the world economics and how it affects EC.

For local political information there is many newspapers and local publications that have their finger on the pulse since they are part of the system. Also there are local attorneys, CPA's and other professionals that can give you the straight facts on any political information or government process you want to know about.

Investment in a foreigh country is a very big and involved step and deserves all the attention and the best professional available.
