volunteering in manta

I am coming to manta for a nine week sabbatical from dec12-feb14th. i was wondering if anyone knows of any reputable organizations in Manta that can set me up with some volunteering- prefer to work with children( i am a preschool teacher) , maybe teaching english or just helping out. my spanish is a beginner level but i would also like to take some private lessons. so if anyone also knows of a good spanish teacher in manta...i would appreciate that as well. gracias!
