FINAL: Declare the war

Hello HGQ and everybody:

I could go on and on but I am going to finalize because I don’t want to deviate from the original purpose of this forum. And I know I can’t change the world and have no intention of being a gung-ho or hero. Just like everybody else here, giving my two cents.

All the poverty is not same and it exists in any corner of the world. In America, France, Sweden, Bangladesh, Arab, anywhere you go you will find the beggars on the street. But we have to differentiate the poverty by major systematic or institutional flaws which can be eliminated from the other. Because that poverty is inhumane tragedy.

When there exists mass poverty in society, it leads usually the society into class warfare between rich and poor. Because it is human nature to blame others and it is the easiest way to get out. That has been the history of the world, especially in central and south American region until this day. And any hero-wannabe will see this as an opportunity like Chavez and rise as a hero, but history has shown that this type of movements more than likely exacerbate the problem instead of improving.

To eliminate the poverty it is very critical every sector of society has to come together and be side by side for the same goal. The rich has to realize having the street beggars near by back yard is not beneficial to them and the poor has to realize that they must put an effort themselves to end their own poverty. It has to be all out war simultaneously; the leader, institution, government, charity organization, the rich and the poor. And I am saying this by my personal experience and observation not by googling web-sites or reading wikipedia.

First of all the immediate tragedy has to be stopped by any means as involvement by charity organization, people like Silverwater, Philman, volunteers, and any help. Also needs as many as expats to spend dollars to help their foreign reserve. And any social leaders including political, academic, business and parents have to build up consensus and public opinion for that matter. I really don’t want to say this and was not going to say but must say it. Or big chunk will be missing.

The early marriage and high birth rate is the biggest stumbling block. And this is the cultural problem. In any where in the world the early marriage and high birth was prevalent pattern in pre-industrial era, it is not just Latin American’s unique culture. But it changed. Also this is the common factor of the poor nations regardless of the region, north, south, east and west including black and Hispanic American. And killing the rich would be like killing the milk cow. Declare the war against the poverty not the rich.

I am not even near being rich or scholar. I just wanted to have a decent place to enjoy retirement and travel here and there with my tiny pension. But my mind is gradually changing. I probably try to do something to help them even though my help will be a drop of water on the solid rock. And nobody knows who I am and will stay like that. I am a shy person.
