People In Quito

Hi all,
I'm moving to Quito in about two weeks, on January 7th. Anything in particular I should know about the city? I.e. hotspots, good cafes/restaurants, places to avoid, places to go, etc. Is there anywhere that other expats hang out?

Also, anyone know where I can watch the superbowl? I know it's a long shot, but I'll be damned if i miss one haha.
