Networking in Quito

I'm on my way to join my Ecuadorian husband in Quito at the beginning of March. Having lived there for a short period in the past, I find the move is a little easier this time around. I guess my concern is around networking and meeting people. My husband has a great network of friends/family and I get along perfectly well with them but I'll need my English fix every once in a while. I won't be working for a while and am unsure how to network and start meeting people in Quito.

Suggestions for good hang-outs/venues to do this?
