Ecuador, Venezuela, Iran

Hi there, with concern I have been following the news during the past 12 months of ever expanding contacts between the governments of Ecuador, Venezuela, and Iran. Correo endorsed the president of Iran. and started alliances, beyond financial and trade alliances, military alliances. I am concerned about the safety of U.S. citizens if the growing tensions between Venezuela and Colombia explode,or if Iran would start a military action in the middle East (which I think is within the range of possibilites). I am concerned about the freedom of press as well as Internet if sth. like that happened.
