should i get appliances

Hi,
is it advisable to get a printer to Ecuador,
or buy ne here,

are there any appliances which i should bring ith me,

plz advise me about this......
I wanted to print,

so thought of buying a printer,

but everyone advised me, to simply go to a printing shop & get stuff printed out,

coz, it will be difficult to carry the printer anyway,

everyone has been saying ,, if i go to a cyber cafe & have stuff printed,
& if there is a virus in the printer,

my laptop could get it,

is this true,
