I know everybody is looking for paradise these days, but does that mean he/she should buy a peace of the rock? Despite the unsettling situation in the Western countries, third-world countries have their own problems. One of my concerns is that any of these places could end up like Greece, and one day you could wake up to find that the Correa, or other government heads, may confiscate your property or tax you death to help pay for their broken economies. For me, I think I will just pursue a more nomadic life style. For now passing a Winter or a Summer in Ecuador, the Philippines, or someplace in Europe sounds like a better fit for me. It is good to stay mobile, to be able to decamp at a moments notice. I know many people who regret setting up deep roots in places it took a long time to get out when the mood struck them.
