Working remotely out of Ecuador

I am a computer programmer and live in Montreal. I am thinking of working out of Ecuador remotely for my Montreal employer. Does any of you have any insight as to how such things can be arranged from the tax standpoint? I.e. can I receive my salary, my T4 slip and have all the taxes deducted in Canada and then file a tax return in Ecuador declaring foreign income? Or will the company have to pay me in Ecuador, deducting Ecuadorian taxes and then I file foreign income on my Canadian tax return. My company has a global presence and actually they have an Ecuadorian employee based in Ecuador. But they do not have an office there. I could ask them I suppose, but I'd like to gather more information myself before I ask about how they would feel about me working remotely. Thank you for your help.
