More about dogs.

Hi gang,
I have read here, mostly from Weegie that my J.R. can be flown to Ecuador and that there are hotels and apartments where he may be welcome.

I have also read that it is easy to get around and see this country by bus, without needing to buy a car.

But would our dog be allowed to travel with us by bus, or would we need to pay for taxi everywhere?

I have considered the idea of buying an older car (1990s) with the idea that we could sell it after 2 months or so if we decided to return to USA withoout losing more than a few hundred dollars. Might be better than spending it on long distance taxi trips. (unlike TONSKIP, I am unwilling to burn all bridges without looking first). Has anyone had experience buying or selling used autos through sites like patiotuerca?

I would appreciate hearing from any of you who have had experience getting from place to place with your pet.

Warren and Jan
