I have been reading about the adventures of two fearless friends that are driving from Toronto to Argentina on the travel blog. As many of you have found out, you can't drive the entire way from North America down to Ecuador. Here is their first-hand account with all the details (names, phone numbers, paperwork) of what it takes to get it accomplished:

I am having a lot of fun reading their other entries too, about making a run into Colombia with their host families to buy a cheaper plazma tv, getting lost, running out of money, sleeping in Dora the Explorer in the most dangerous part of town. They throw in a little philosophy too. Bad things can happen anywhere, good things happen everywhere.
