I've just got to ask...

14 years ago
about gated communities.

I'm in the US - and where I live we resent and avoid gated communities - even working with city council to ban them in our county.

So, it is very surprising when I read so many ads in these other countries for gated communities.

From this side it feels like - here come the gringos to your nice country and let's keep things separate and put a wall around ourselves.

Would appreciate conversation about this.
