I am currently living in Quito with my Ecuadorian boyfriend and it looks like I will be living here for a long time as we have decided not to try to move to the US. With this decision, I now have a ton of questions about 1st getting residency here, but especially getting a visa for my boyfriend to come visit me. I would be able to work in the US as a travel nurse for 3 months, but desperately want my boyfriend to be able to travel with me!
We are starting to apply for a tourist visa for him, but being realistic that he probably won't get it as he is not from a wealthy background. Will it be any easier for him when we are married?? I am wondering if there are any experts out there who are willing to chat, maybe who live in the Quito area and would like to meet up for coffee, or simply E-mail any advice! Also if anyone knows any good, immigration or visa lawyers that I can consult. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!!
Thanks,
Emma
