Just wanted to warn everyonhe about my bad experiences with TELMEX so you may be able to avoid a similar problem. Heres the story:
When I moved a little over a year ago, I got TELMEX for internet, phone and cable. A day after they installed it, the garbage truck went down the street and took down the line. Two days later they fixed it. They took money directly from my account to pay for the bill each month. The problem was I never received a planilla (bill) so I knew how much to put in the bank. When I complained, they said they couldnt find my house. They didnt have any problems finding it for installation and repair.
In January, I didnt put any money in the bank because again...no planilla. they cut service, then when my check was deposited into the account, took the money. Although I went several times, they never restored service. They continued taking money from my account for five more months after that (over $300) although I never had service in this time.
Then I moved again, and again they took money from my account. I went back again, and made them put in writing that I was no longer at that address and not using their service. Now they want their equipment, even though I no onger have access to that house. Its over $200 dollars and they call me night and day bugging me for the money, even though they took more then enough money from me to pay for it. Their excuse is that I signed a contract allowing them to take the money. I tell them that the contract also states that they will supply service but they didnt.
In any case, every time I go there, I see more disgruntled people. I dont know if I need a lawyer to stop the harrasement or not, but I sure dont want to pay them any more money. So be careful. I wouldnt use them.
