I know this topic was covered about a year ago but I can't find it now. We will be in Salinas for a month in October house hunting and want to be prepared, at least psychologically to what I will need to do to prepare my foods so as not to contract bio-born illness. I know there are products available at the Super Maxi, but I am more interested in what the process looks like. How do you do it and what kind of time does it take? Which veggies do you clean and which do you not? Does meat need a special process? Fish? Do you also prepare your pots and pans or do you wash them in bottled water too? Help me get ready, please. I really count on your folks :)
