Reality in EC

I usually do not bother to post on this site because it seems to be mostly paranoid lunatics. I suppose those who have nothing to occupy their time must have excitement somewhere. Does anyone really believe the U.S. was behind some labor dispute in E.C. ? The idea is obsurd. I have lived in Manta for some time and I travel all around this beautiful country. Most of the postings on this site are full of misinformation. Everything from cost of living to safety to visas. I would never have come here if I had believed this drivel. Fortunately I met some wonderful people in Manta and bought a lovely house where I enjoy my new found friends and mostly avoid ex pats. My advice is come see for yourself and don't be influenced by a web site filled with hate and bad information. That is not what this country is about.
